Mes Premiers Pas en Français is a local business in the northern Virginia area that offers French classes to 1-4 years olds. Classes are based around interactive play through the use of puppets, felt board figures, singing and story telling to keep children involved in the class. The author of this blog is a native from France, a mother herself, and believes from her own experience that it is important for children to be exposed to French while they are still small, as it is easier for them to learn at that stage of their lives. She also enjoys making props for her classes, including sock puppets, felt nature scenes, finger puppets for the children to play with, and felt figures to dress up.
